Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-22
This policy explains, in plain English, what Your Bro Rob Fitness (operated by Robert Agarand) collects when you use the app at app.yourbrorob.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted. The app is for adults 18 and over.
1. Account information
When you sign up we store your name, email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile Google returns. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider — we never see them.
2. Training and nutrition information you enter
This is the heart of the app, and you choose what to put in. It includes your age, sex, height, weight and target weight, goals, experience, equipment, training days, injuries and medications you tell us about, workouts and sets logged, meals and food logs, check-ins, habits, measurements, progress photos and form-check videos, and your conversations with the AI coach. We use it to build and adjust your program and meal plan, to show your progress, and to run streaks, achievements and any leaderboards you opt into. Photos and videos are kept in private storage and are only shown back to you (and to Rob when you submit a form check).
3. Analytics
We record basic, non-identifying usage information — device type, app version, which screens are opened, crashes and errors — so we can fix problems and improve the app.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense
The free version of the app shows ads served by Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-3694024091708978). Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure ad performance. Some of these cookies may be used to personalise the ads you see based on your previous visits to this and other sites.
You can turn personalised advertising off, or review the vendors involved, at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Turning off personalisation does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant. Ad-Free members and coaching clients see no ads at all.
5. Meta Pixel
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our public pages and at key moments such as completing sign-up or a purchase, so we can measure how well our advertising works. The Pixel receives the page you were on and the type of event. We never send your name, email address, health data or any other personal detail to Meta. You can manage Meta ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
6. Payments
Web payments for the Ad-Free membership and 1-on-1 coaching are processed by Stripe. In the mobile apps, purchases go through Apple and Google. These processors handle your card details directly — we never receive or store your full card number. We store your subscription status, payment dates and, for card payments, the card brand and last four digits, so we can support you and handle refunds.
7. Hosting and infrastructure
The app's database, authentication and file storage run on Supabase through Lovable Cloud, with content delivered via Cloudflare. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and row-level security means each person's records are only readable by that person and, where necessary for support, by Rob. AI coaching replies are generated by third-party AI providers acting on our instructions; we do not let them use your data to train their models.
8. Who we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (advertising, analytics, payments, hosting, AI) so the app can work, and with authorities where the law requires it.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is open. After you delete your account we remove your profile, training data, logs, photos and videos, and we keep only what accounting, tax and fraud-prevention law requires — usually payment records for up to seven years. Backups roll off within 30 days.
10. Your choices and deletion
- You can edit or clear your profile details in the app at any time.
- You can delete your account, and everything in it, from Profile → Delete account.
- You can also ask us to export, correct or erase your data by emailing robertagarand@yourbrorob.com. We answer within 30 days.
- You can turn off marketing emails and push notifications in Settings.
11. Adults only
The app is intended for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
12. No medical advice
Health information you enter is used to personalise general fitness and nutrition guidance. It is not a medical record, and nothing the app produces is medical advice. See the Terms of Service.
13. Changes
We will post changes here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
14. Contact
