Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and Your Bro Rob Fitness, operated by Robert Agarand ("YBR", "we", "us"). They cover the app at app.yourbrorob.com, the website and the coaching services. By creating an account or using the app you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. You must be 18 or older

The app is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. We do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone younger.

2. This is not medical advice

Everything in the app — workouts, meal plans, calorie and macro targets, coaching messages and AI replies — is general fitness and nutrition information for education. It is not medical, dietary, psychological or physiotherapy advice, and it does not replace a doctor. Talk to a qualified health professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, and especially if you have any medical condition, are injured, are pregnant, or take medication. Stop and seek medical help if you feel unwell.

3. Liability waiver and your own risk

Exercise carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for choosing weights and exercises that suit you, and for stopping when something hurts. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Your Bro Rob Fitness and Robert Agarand from any claim for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or the programs in it.

4. No guaranteed results

Results depend on your effort, consistency, genetics, sleep, stress, medical history and many other things outside our control. Nothing in the app is a promise of a specific weight, body composition, strength level or timeline. Before-and-after examples are not typical results.

5. Your account

Keep your login details private. You are responsible for anything done through your account. Tell us right away if you believe someone else is using it. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, breaks these Terms, or puts other members at risk.

6. What you may and may not do

  • Use the app for your own personal training and nutrition.
  • Do not resell, republish, scrape or redistribute programs, meal plans or other content from the app.
  • Do not upload content that is illegal, abusive, or that you do not own.
  • Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload — progress photos, form-check videos, logs and notes. You give us permission to store and process that content only to run the service for you (for example to generate your plan or let Rob review a lift). We do not publish your photos or videos, and we do not use them in marketing unless you give us separate written permission.

8. Free version and ads

The app is free to use. The free version is paid for by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ad cookies and how to control them are explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Ad-Free subscription

The Ad-Free membership is 9.99 USD a month, billed by Stripe on the web or through the Apple App Store / Google Play in the mobile apps. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your profile (or in your Apple / Google subscription settings), and you keep ad-free access to the end of the period you already paid for. Because the subscription is delivered immediately, monthly fees already charged are generally non-refundable, except where consumer law in your province or country requires a refund. If you were charged by mistake, email us and we will make it right.

10. 1-on-1 coaching

Coaching is a one-time payment of 1,000 USD for a three-month block, taken through Stripe. Because coaching is personal, time-reserved service, the payment is non-refundable once the block has started and your first program has been written. If you need to pause for a medical reason, contact us and we will work something out in good faith. Coaching includes ad-free access for the length of the block.

11. Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe, and in-app purchases by Apple and Google. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes your jurisdiction adds.

12. Changing or ending the service

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the service. If we close the service we will give reasonable notice so you can export or delete your data. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of 100 USD or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is material we will ask you to accept the new version in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current Terms.
